Good listing images follow each marketplace's rules. Main images usually need a clean background, with the product filling most of the frame, while gallery images can show scale, details and the product in use.
When we optimize a listing, we review its images together with the title and bullet points, so every part tells the buyer the same story.
Product visuals do different jobs on a listing. The main image has to win the click in search results,
while gallery images answer buyer questions about size, materials and details before they need to ask.
A sample like this one is a starting point for planning a full image set for each product: the main image, close-up details, scale and lifestyle shots.
Each marketplace sets its own image rules, and those rules change over time. Before new images go live,
we check them against the current requirements of every channel the product is listed on.
